Group who had the controlling interest and now that managing role and controlling interest has been turned over to UCOM as far as I can tell. ABCN didn't sell their interest to UCOM...it was M. Group who sold their interest in ABCN to UCOM. ...Source: Bangkok Post, Oct 3, 1997 I'm trying to track down that Merrill Lynch report. I found one from ONSI, but I haven't located the one I'm thinking of on LOR. The analyst at MER is Thomas Watts and he covers the Telecommunications/Satellite industry. I'll check tomorrow on the Bloomberg.... I'm pretty sure it was in the late summer to early fall of last year. I'm 95% sure that they cover it.
