Don't disagree with what you have posted, howwever:

One issue gives me some concern about Mastec (albeit not relevant in the short run). In the latest 10Q it appears that almost all 1997 revenue growth is due to acquisitions (both domestic & international). Existing business does not appear to be growing. I would like to know what is the annual revenue growth rate of previously acquired businesses (i.e., business operations existing before 1997).

Relying exclusively on acquisitions for growth is risky (not all acquisitions are successfull) and in time acquisition opportunities will diminish. Since this is a rapidly growing industry I assume that their existing customer relationships should be generating increasing revenues, right? So where is the growth?
