Cool. I only saw them on MTV - the face man did a great delivery to Congress about the stupidity of the outrage about lyrics ... I liked their stage presence - musical talent is very different than being a successful stage act.

[Edit:] I think of Frank Zappa - one of my fav's and an LA based musician. Some of the stuff he plays is very difficult to follow from a music composition POV - his session players were supposedly often confused!! And he had some really funny stuff - like Penguin in Bondage, but also one of the best guitar solos of the period in Son of Orange County. I liked Rick Wakeman and Savoy Brown. Also a Ritchie Blackmore fan.

The outrageousness of Twisted Sister amused me - a self-parody of hair bands.
