Well, with an election looming in the United States there will be endless happy talk about an imminent vaccine to cure our medical and financial problems by November, but Mr. Virus is looking forward to cold weather.

So, real interest rates in the U.S. have gone negative this year, but how high will gold go if the Fed is forced to let nominal U.S. interest rates go negative? What happens if the bodies start piling up like cordwood while we wait for a vaccine? If nothing else, we can count on uncertainty to support precious metals.
