Dulane - While you are on the subject of executive personnel at DEC, there is one other guy who was a star at IBM and went over to DEC. His name is Bruce Claflin and while at IBM he got much of the credit for firing up the Thinkpad laptop segment with good success....

Dulane - Since you mentioned executive personnel, I wanted to add that there is one guy at DEC that was a star at IBM before he jumped over to DEC to try and get their laptop efforts going. His name is Bruce Claflin and he gets credit for firing up the Thinkpad laptop segment at IBM. Should be an asset to Compaq.
