I am really trying with you Brumar. But this is just another example of you throwing shit at the wall. And you have it wrong.

Let's start from the basics. Simple truths.

You say below that Republicans were much less racist than FDR and JFK.

So lets just focus on that one sentence i.e. if that is right you have to be able to answer these two questions.

1) Why do the African Americans vote for Democrats over 90% in every election?

2) Why did the conservatives vote against the 1964 civil rights act and the liberals voted for it?

In order for your statement to be true you have to give a real answer to those two questions.

PS: as regards gay marriage. African Americans in general were at first against it, because they are more conservative than democrats in general.

But when their leaders explained gay marriage was a civil right they changed their mind in just a few months.

Being able to change one's mind when wrong is a basic tenet of wisdom.

FDR did lots of terrible things like Japanese internments and segregating the military.

But at that time in history the entire south was segregated.

And I can guarantee you the Republicans were not protesting that stuff.

I'm glad you're willing to forgive FDR for his sins because in your imagination Republicans were worse. I find it interesting that Democrats still have ways of denying minorities their rights as first class citizens. More recent examples:

1) Remember when CAA blacks and hispanics voted overwhelmingly against gay marriage and liberals arranged for a judge to overrule their vote? That was okay because it was progressive.

2) Hispanics don't use the term LatinX, so liberals impose it on them anyway:

If they were more enlightened, they'd call themselves latinx.
