Rocky,

The E2N digital still camera's suggested retail price is $9,995, including strap

I wonder how much they would knock off the price if I didn't want the strap? <g>

<That $950 15MB PC card is an ultra high speed card. Each photo that camera takes is 3.7MB--Big file! Regular flash cards would be slower, and the slowest would be Vapor! With Vapor!, you would have to wait at least 6 seconds between each picture.>

Great, I can take 4 pictures per $950 card <g>.
Hmm, I wonder how long it would take for me to swap to
my other 15MB/$950 card <g>

Why didn't they just use that 230MB PCMCIA Hard Drive?
At least then you wouldn't need to swap cards every 10 seconds.

Rocky,

<With Vapor! you would have to wait at least 6 seconds between each picture.>

I hate to tell you, but many of the current digital cameras have much longer than 6 second delays between shots. Most have flash or smartmedia yet they have big differences in time between shots. Therefore, the actual transfer rate must only be a small part of the total dead time. My guess is that the speed in processing the image is much more important. IOM's solution will be adequate for most uses.
