The Asian Crisis is hurting all the capital intensive industries pretty hard over there, particularly those who access US funds to borrow debt. Basically, the Baht has gone from ~25 to ~55 per dollar, which makes repaying those US debts off more than 2 times as expensive (unless they have hedged their currency exposure). It's going to be very interesting to see how this all shakes out. Many business over there will go under.

It wouldn't surprise me 1 bit if the launch was delayed again and even if it did go up in April, I wouldn't expect it to contribute any more than $2 million in revenues this year.

ValueMan- I just ran a check on the Bloomberg and you are correct. Merrill does not cover LOR.... sorry for the confusion. Now you've got me curious.

I'll try to track down where I saw the LOR/ABCN discussion. Perhaps it was a report put out by Merrill about one of LOR's competitors or maybe it came from Satellite News. (I'm thinking it might be a MER report on ONSI after they announced their merger)

I'll do some checking and get back to you when I find out.

Again, sorry for the confusion.
