It is common sense that there have been some good Republicans and some bad Democrats.

That is a given and I should not have to say it. It is a truism.

I am talking about the politics and philosophy of the two parties in general, the populations as a whole, which is the only way you can measure things of that nature.

I am sure there were good Nazi's, but history doesn't care much about them, as they were immaterial and so are the few good Republicans.

I am talking about the behavior of the Republican party over the last 50 and 100 years and it has "generally" been cruel and destructive, not constructive and worked against our society, big time.

We would be 20 or 30 years ahead of where we are, were it not for their ignorant and cruel administrations.

We could have been the pearl of the world had Bush and the Republicans put the trillions they blew on stupid wars and tax cuts for the rich, into free public education from pre school through PHD and into universal health care and affirmative action programs to help the poor.

The Republicans, as a party, and based on their votes, have ruled for 50 as an ignorant and cruel party and the cause of social devolution, not evolution!

"That is immaterial to the conversation. It is nothing but a blip"
It's more than a blip. You are psychologically unable to admit than any R ever did a decent thing in his life, and that D's have any failings.
