I agree. I believe the dow strength shown later in the day yesterday was based purely on the strength of the Naz. The dow showed great resistance to its last short-term high most of the day. Then it just let go. You could see it, it went over that number, came back to give it one small goodbye kiss, and was gone.

I, too, saw that trendline. If we do break it, and close above it, we will touch the 8000 level, which is really not that far away (~200 points). That might become a psych stopping level for now (sometimes the centuries will do that to a market). As always, IMHO only.

just pulled up your Dow chart...doesnt have months at the bottom....

so what number breaks your trendline

btw, getting close to your 8022 that is on your chart...good call.
