BOL Q-4 earnings report ......
"Ongoing revenues in the company's eyewear segment were up 24% over 1996, and 29% when adjusted for currency. These revenues reflect the early launch of the 1998 Ray-Ban(R) collection and more normalized sales to Sunglass Hut International, this segment's largest customer. In the U.S., sunglass revenues rose 62% in comparison to 1996 depressed levels. Outside the U.S., currency-adjusted sunglass revenues were up 13%, with European growth accelerating to more than 20%, while growth in the Asia-Pacific region was strong despite continued difficult market conditions and competitive pressures.
