>>So how much do they make if they cost $4.00 next December?<<

hugh, pricing is based on the cost structure so i don't think $4.00 by next december is anywhere near a realistic target. 10% a q seems to work when mu has a process and ramps it and improves yields, etc.

product changeover definitely put a speedbump in that process.

back to $4.00 by december. that would be analagous to someone asking last january what mu would make if dram was $14 by dec/97. kinda silly in context.

supply is still heavily weighted when compared to demand. the tightening of pricing is due to the koreans holding back inventory again (and when it hits the market we know what it does ;-)
