You can't see past the headline. Why is there so much black crime? After republicans collapse the economy with recessions black poverty soars. It takes a decade or longer to get back to where it was before the recession only to be hit with another republican recession. Why did black unemployment reach an all time low? Because we had the longest expansion in US history. Then, a republican crashed the economy again. Black unemployment is 14.6% again (the month of July).
