Cytyc beat earnings expectations by posting a lower loss than expected on the quarter and the year. However, I think the key is the growth in gross revenues. Does anyone know how their actual performance rates with respect to this measure?

Thanks!

John,

We've got you covered;

AccuMed Files New FDA Submission for Use of TracCell System
with Monolayer Slides

BTW...have you ever heard of cytometric-evaluation of cellular tissue DNA? AccuMed isn't looking at just the cells anymore. They are measuring the DNA (which I believe) is housed in the mitochondria of the cell. Sounds like a game of leap-frog. <g>

Reminds me of a time during the cold war when the Soviets sent us a human hair with a laser hole bored through the diameter. We sent back the same hair with a laser hole bored through the entire length of the hair-shaft.

John,
There is no question that CYTC has a good technology.....but have you seen any studies matching the Accumed technology with the Cytec technology and also a study where a Cytec slide is read by the Accumed system?
