DOUG: I can't disagree with your strategy; however in addition to the sale of covered calls, I sold July 17.5 puts against cash. This second approach has two benefits: My sales price of 3.75 brings the yield to over 25% for the next six months, and the money is held in a money market account which yields an additional 0.5% interest per month. Your thoughts?

Doug,

I wish I written the 20's. Instead, I sold 17.5's.... Thanks for the in-depth analysis. Good thoughts.

My big question now, as CREAF dips back and forth in this range is whether to buy back my calls. I sold Februarys and there have been times in the last week or so I could have had them back for less than half what I got. On the other hand, money and I hate to be parted. Any thoughts; stand pat or get my calls back?
