in october when the exchange rates dropped i started saying that that would change dell cost structure so much that it would be what they needed.
the feb98 is pushed out to aug 98 now.
this exchange rate thing drops cost drastically and will create extra profit for dell,hp,cpq,ibm

come to think of it.
I posted that on cpq and dell threads many times with a bold statement in dec97. the fact that dell got 6 months repreive
this asia exchange rate deal is a boon to pc makers
