Is Joe Biden really going to win like the polls indicate or will Trump somehow win reelection? I recall clearly Biden's campaign had gone belly up, and everyone knew he was finished. Then suddenly, there was a hot rush across southern states, and everyone was voting for Biden. It was like a sudden fever had caught every state, and Biden's campaign was their elixir of hope. I see trump for who he has always been: an overly privileged, seriously damaged white supremicist who has a penchant for quietly assaulting young girls. He looks like a mad scientist minus the science. Standing next to Jeffrey Epstein, trump looked like the sick freak, drooling all over teen girls, including his own daughter. I sincerely hope Biden pulls off a win because trump actually is a real threat. Trump tariffs on China completely decimated our own farmers, many of whom took their own lives in that horrid debacle. Then he called them “our patriot farmers". Biden may trip over his own words, but he isn't a bully. He has always identified with regular working people because he was one of them; and he was proud to say so. He's always had a knack for bringing opposing people together in Congress. I remember when Biden's son Beau died, and his pain was palpable. Yet he continued forward, always concerned about workers, blacks and Latinos. Conversely, I also remember trump stating he thought the rules for the presidency were wrong - “why shouldn't the president RULE for 21 years..?? I'm going to look into it”, he said. I suggest we need to destroy the mechanism by which trump was elected. Extreme wealth and blind belief should not be purveyors of any election, regardless of affiliation. Besides, I look forward to the interesting descriptions Biden had for people with whom he was disturbed, like “…lying, dog-faced pony soldier”. That's classic Biden. It reminds me of kids who were taught never to use profanity when talking about a person's character. Not a bad idea, and it promotes more creativity. My gut response is Biden has a golden opportunity now, and I hope we can help him cross the finishline. I feel he will be a good and trustworthy president.
