Bob (OT)

The problem with technical diving (below 120') is that if you have a problem, it's too late to do anything about it. Have to time your ascent etc. If you are at 130' and your buddy has a problem and you hang around to help, then you have a problem too. More than likely, neither of you will make it up. At 130' Bob, no one has any friends, only some one left to tell the officials the facts. Life is tough on the edge. ie. diving, flying, and investing in IOM!!!

As a pilot myself, rapidly approaching 10,000 hrs, you have to always be a few steps ahead of the machine. Just like with IOM.

I think your analysis of IOM is pretty much on target. Buy when you hear another body falling, and since last Thursday PM, I think there is a very large pile. Just cranked up my pickup, and getting ready to head to Roy.
