none of my friends would do that if one did he would no longer be a friend, in the 80's when I was single, I was in a big bar with friends and I sat at a table with about 6 women I didn't know so i just listened to their conversation, they were talking about their husbands and boyfriends hitting them and that all men hit their women, I spoke up and said I had never hit a women in my life, they said I was one of the few, I don't what kind of women would let their men hit them, the women I know would fight back and kick the bum out the door

If any of my friends end up beating his wife we'll beat the crap out of him. It's that simple.
No it isn't that simple.

More often than not, if you intervene in a domestic abuse situation, the woman is going to side with her abusive man.

By the way, you might want to drop the "white knight" act. No one believes you except the gullible.
