Yup. Corporations should choose business friendly neighboring municipalities, rather than the Austins and Cambridges.

One of the funniest moments I witnessed in a deposition was with one of the partners of my law firm deposing an engineer, both Armenian, both from the Detroit area. They were chatting nicely before the deposition, and then the engineer asked where my boss grew up, and he named a suburb of Detroit. The engineer sniffed, and peremptorily said "you're not from Detroit." It got real quiet. I was laughing inside.
