gov waited too long

It is the line of the WHO. It was used that to scare countries to panic brake and stop their economies.

gov waited too long is what the press pushed into the ignorant masses as the reaction of the US administration.

Had these governments not slammed on the brakes, they would have thad time to consider the consequences of their actions.
These consequences are the devastated effects we have been seeing for the past quarters.

But it was like this: Slam on the brakes and think later. We have been seeing the results.

People will be studying this Covid thing for centuries.

How could a modern civilized society fall to such a scam?

It would be expected in the middle ages. In today's Nigeria but not the advanced countries leading the way.

There will be a guy or a bunch, in the future, who will be looking into how much money was on the table?

While others will be looking into another angle: Politicians used this for power grab.

The most worrsome thing are the possible outcomes:
There will be more of these shams being brought up in the future. Like any small flu being sold to the masses as another Covid and repeating the sutpi exercise we have been witnessing.

The so called measures of containment becoming the norm and people even forgetting why they are there.
