No way... Service, distribution channels, and Corporate customers,
especially in Europe (where DEC still has a pretty good hold). Expect
massive layoffs (at DEC) as CPQ phases out DEC pc division (including
notebooks) and consolidates with their own. Alpha servers MAY remain
(I must admit they kick ass) but are they that much (read: ANY) better
than Merced??? This merger makes far more sense than the street has
given credit to it. A far better deal than Tandem...

But all this of course, is strictly MY Opinion
