Stonehenge-Re:CPQ

I think that the street has not yet had time to crunch all the numbers and create of picture of the combined company going forward. This was, after all, a very large transaction. OTH, I'm sure that Pfieffer and his bean counters know exactly where they are going with this.

In the absence of any real bad news, I will continue to be an optimistic long with a large position. I have been disappointed that CPQ has missed this rally, however.

Congrats on your additional shares.

Hi Stonehenge. Whatever happens with CPQ your new purchase of it looks good this morning. Like I said, I was a little hesitant about it in the beginning when I read some of the bad press. I have listened to both cos. and I believe that Mr. Pfeiffer may know better than the analysts what's good for his company. As we know though it is not always the case that the CEO knows better. gg. But in this case Mr. Pfeiffer has been looking at DEC since 1995 and I am fairly sure he knows better than those so called analysts who try to tear this thing apart. As we know CPQ has had close ties with DEC for some time now. They have used their service. Here is another article. Enjoy:

It is getting a bit quieter on the political front and Mr. Greenspan did not do too bad either. gg. So, maybe we can prosper some more.

I do hope also that Intc is on its way to 100 again. There was this orig. target of 85. I keep my fingers crossed that it will sail through it. But whatever, we will be happy down the road like always, unless the industry collapses. gg.
