It's my understanding that China assembles various products for Apple but they do not manufacture all that much that goes into a cell phone or computer other than LCD/OLED displays. That may have been changing for the past couple of years but certainly that was the case in 2018 and before. Not everything has to be all or nothing with respect to trade between the US and China. That maybe how Trump sees it but we'll find out in a few months if that will continue for another 4 years.
