I get it that folks are fatigued by the virus which does not seem to kill most

my kids sooooo want to 'return to normal'

unclear that we would not be dialoguing about the virus a year from now

whilst the answer is blowing in the wind, so is the virus

spoke to my neighbour at 10 paces distance this am, and he told me that all the restaurants in Stanley (nearby walking distance ex-fishing village) are still in business, apparently able to hang on. I am amazed.

He and his wife spent 2 nights everything included stay at the Peninsula Hotel for the heck of it, and the hotel upgraded them to harbour-view 2-rooms suite, breakfasts included, together w/ complementary Rolls Royce to / fro rides. He says hotel at low but rising occupancy, w/ local staycation guests, all using the pool, not a good idea. Unclear where the economy is going, but apparently difficult to keep HK down.

I will have a better idea next week upon walkabout. Looking forward.
