DJ, excellent KO/INTC comparison. Excellent!

And INTC appears management -quite hip- to this reality. Just look at their ads. Ingenious Intel brand campaign going on. btw: Kids absolutely love the commercials... the dancing fabricator guys, the colored dust suits, the truck, et al. Soon, -everyone- not just geeks, will align with CO products. People -without- computers will like Intel!

Combine this powerful brand marketing with CO's superior tech leadership position. Higher MHz CPUs 1st half '98, fabbing Alpha chips, and so on...

No, I don't work for CO. Just an opportunist staring at INTC APR/JUL 100+ CALLs trying to rationalize scoop. A "Kato" ambush? Who knows. However, if INTC creates equal brand awareness as KO... there's no stopping this thing. jmho.

DJ,

The only problem with comparing KO to INTC is that, IMO, KO is way overvalued. I think INTC is attractive compared to almost all other companies out there but I don't like comparing ivestments to KO. I don't care if a 1/3 of the world hasn't had a coke, that third can't afford one either.
