Little Engine, I don't know how FAMH intends to handle the Myriad transition, but typically, the old personnel are kept on at least during a transition period. Usually anywhere from 30 to 90 days.

During a transition period, NEW management evaluates who is worth keeping and who needs to go. Obviously, some people could be out the door on day 1 based on what new management might already know from audits and face-to-face contact.

Generally old personnel are helpful for getting NEW management acquainted with how OLD management has been doing things. This is good for revealing strengths and weaknesses of the existing methods used in the company. It's also important for understanding the relationships developed with clients and employees.

To toss old personnel out prematurely is one of biggest mistakes new management can make. But it happens often.

Best wishes,
Brad
