Re <<bail>>

I cannot harmlessly bail on gold / near-gold / alt-gold, for even as DRD shows a big unrealized gain, due to the attendant options positions (shorted calls and shorted puts) all sport wide-gap bid / ask and given the inefficiency (or deserved) option pricing much more gain remain in the options when they expire. It is as if should I exit now I owe a nasty gains tax, and should I wait out the clock, gains prospect increase even as gains tax goes to zero.

Crazy, as long as DRD trades at current levels 14-15, option bid / ask wide and too-rich to buy, too-poor to sell (I had been transacting at mid-price to open the positions, but cannot close at mid-price). Bulk of positions expire mid-October, ~80 days. Tolerable for gold / alt-gold. Intolerable for TSLA, that which funds gold plays.

So, general vector, remain net short-duration short TSLA and net longer-duration long DRD.
