I can’t help but think Fauci and others wanted to tamp down HCQ because it might have watered down drug company's interest in therapeutics. In the meantime we could have been curing at least 2/3 of those who died. While spending a fraction of the money and reopening the colony months ago. Even if you believe Fauci, that he simply wanted a placebo controlled study, the question to be asked is why didn’t you get one then? This is his function in life. Why did he not do what he had to do? I think the answer is going to be found one day, a lot of people died needlessly, and rebuilding our economy will probably take years. More than years if Trump isn’t re-elected.
