My point is the Trump never said what was attributed to him by the three cable news outlets. Fox just dropped it when the facts came out, afaik without any acceptance of responsibility. The other two have continued to repeat it to this day. While Tapper made a sort of lukewarm admission others on CNN continue to spread the lie. The only point of it now is to go at him politically. I just don’t appreciate the media getting involved in making such calls. It is harmful to the country, and not a proper function for First Amendment intentions of the Framers. We have to get back on track with this or the country is going to fracture, imo. If Trump lies the people will make the call as to his believability. But the media claiming he’s lied 20,000 times, itself a lie, day after day, is simply designed to control the vote. I’m not saying anything can be done, but it is a display of unprofessional behavior that would make Enron embarrassed.
