I came away with a different impression. The Nbase/MRV booth was literally twice the size from last year and plans have already been made to move to the second floor for Comnet99. In fact, the newer and larger booth will be on display in Vegas this April.

It was great seeing the Xyplex product on display along with their sales staff. Nbase / MRV was a finalist for the new products award.
The staff of MRV was quite knowledgable and friendly. Many thanks to Mark Bohs, Ben Johnson, Lisa Baratt, Diana Adams, and Mannix O'Connor for their devotion in talking with a small investor.

Finally, Noam Lotan sounded very upbeat when talking with me about the Xyplex acquistion. He envisions a strong future for MRV that extends well into the year 2001.

On a side note NBase had two nice promotional giveaways this time around. The one that stood out was a, red and white colored, stress squeeze ball which incorporated both company names. A large N followed by BASE with MRV communications written in smaller print below the BASE and next to the N.
