R & D for FALCON might impact earnings, but would certainly be viewed as a legitimate expense.

I think any expenses for developing the Falcon chip have probably been factored in over many quarters and are not likely to be extraordinarily high in the 4Q. Fears aside, I think we'll meet or slightly beat consensus numbers. Given the fear-based selloff, I would expect a relief rally to follow.

Of course, a lot depends on the market mood tomorrow. If the market continues strong, I think there is a reasonable chance that PAIR will rally unless earnings or forecasts are frightenly bad. It simply hasn't had big buying in anticipation of earnings so there isn't a lot of over-optimism priced in at current levels.

That being said, I also own Davox which continued a tradition of great growth, beat estimates and sold off anyway. You might want to check it out:
