Thanks BPP -- it's interesting how good news and not-so-good news can come out simultaneously. The big morning news I heard was that Merrill Lynch had downgraded HWP (and as of now at least, HWP is down more than a point). I thought that weakness might carry over to Atmel, and I could sell some (not all) the puts, so instead the hummer is up a bit. Go figure. It'll come back down. Thanks for the news, and cheers/t

What I find so disconcerting about ATML is that even a pure commodity
chip company such as MU has rebounded 60% from its recent lows. Given
that ATML's management gives out so little info I am becoming anxious about
the long term viability of the company. Your comments please.
