For those who are interested, today is the day that AOC is pitted against Pelosi. Two races in Massachusetts.

Joe Kennedy against Ed Markey the incumbent and Richard Neal the incumbent against Alex Morse.

Pelosi backs Kennedy and Neal and AOC backs Markey and Morse.

As mentioned Pelosi went against the DCCC rules against backing a challenger and after she did that AOC felt free to back Morse against Neal. And AOC told Pelosi she didn't want to hear any more about the DCCC rule.

The Massachusetts Democratic party smeared Morse who is gay conspiring with some college students and maybe for money? There is an investigation underway.

But Morse stuck in there and the plot was uncovered and he was vindicated. But as they have mail in ballots there may have been votes for Neal before Morse was vindicated.

The progressives really want to get Neal out as he takes more corporate money than anyone in the House and especially big pharma money. They see him owned by Wall street and will never do anything to reform and mitigate the terrible income inequality.

Michael Moore says if the Democrats cannot defeat Neal, it will be hard to make any progress on universal health care as Neal is chairman of the powerful Ways and Means committee and he is owned by the private insurance folks, big pharma and Wall street.

Here is an overview of those contests today, posted below.
