Gosh Ralph, I got to admit there is a ring of truth to what you're saying. TDFX has been hyped. The BIG difference in it and other highly hyped Co.'s, is that there is great substance under the hype. TDFX is focused on a specialised market (gaming) which is allowing them to get a firm foothold as "the best". In a diverse market, not everyone wants or needs "the best". From this position they will begin to develop products that will enjoy more massive appeal at realistic price points. I will continue to hold well beyond the Banshee release. Price will be volatile in the short term but will stabilise in higher ranges as the market acknowledges 3dfx has a proprietary edge ... and can prove it with earnings. The other shoe dropping will be an OEM bundle. Best regards, Bret P.
