Angel: It doesn't matter about the certs. This is an issue that has been peted, and repeated.
All someone has to do, is get in their car, and drive to the nearest brokerage firm, if there is any problem.
It is a NON issue. capachino? lol al

I checked into this earlier, and though Farsight and DLJDirect won't let you sell a BB stock prior to delivery of the shares, E-Schwab will, provided you do the trade on the phone rather than on-line.

Of course, someone can also drive the certs to any local brokerage and sell them if they like.

The avenues are only somewhat limited, but it certainly is possible for someone to sell BB certs in an instant if they like.

Sorry. In college, my toughest professor would, after a rather lengthy mathematical derivation say "capiche". We, with blank stares of confusion, would answer "capiche". From my neighborhood, capiche means "get it", and not with any insult attached. Capiche?

>>>My certs are sealed, signed and in my broker's desk drawer.<<<<

I hope that is a figure of speech reference to your broker. If they are in his drawer and anyone finds out. you'll be needing to find a new broker. That's considered a high crime in the brokerage world.
