Okay, thanks. Well this is pretty nutty but I'll give it a go.

I started an account for cheap commission trading last
summer and have since doubled my money...finally this
month getting up to 5k, the starting criteria for "the game".
Make 20% a week, man that is a tall order. Here are my
trades for the last month. I do have something in mind
for this next week...but I have not decided yet...will post
later this morning.

01/08/98 12:55:40 Bought 200 PHI at 18 $-3609.99
01/16/98 11:43:31 Sold 200 PHI at 21 3/16 $4227.36
(phi is Philipping long distance)

balance $4236.36

01/26/98 15:32:34 Bought 1000 SYBS at 7 $-7009.99
(sybs is Sybase--bet I didn't have to tell you that one)
balance $-2773.63
01/29/98 10:34:14 Sold 1000 SYBS at 7 29/32 $7895.99

balance $5122.36

You can see that to simply get above the 5k limit to be in the game
I had to 1. trade on margin. 2. go for a risky dead cat bounce. Also,
it is interesting to note that if I had just stayed in PHI the whole time
I would have made just as much after PHI's gain yesterday--without
having had to do something, which, was a total gamble. Anyway,
you can see I am going into this with trepidation, but what the heck,
this is probably one certain way to convince myself that I should or
should not be trading to begin with!
