Don't have a crystal ball but earnings were good if you take out the writedown and note that 4Q is typically their worst. The CEO seems to be very optimistic about the future growth prospects of the company. That's usually just as important as current earnings since the market is always looking out to the future supposedly: ........... "Paul T. Winn, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, ''During the quarter we made significant progress in executing our growth strategy, successfully integrating acquired businesses that should enhance prospects for both our printer and service companies. Earnings were negatively impacted by the one-time contract and transition costs tied to the these acquisitions and the Relay divestiture, most of which the Company believes are now behind us.'' ''We successfully integrated the Digital Printing Systems Business into our printer company, and are well-positioned to achieve accelerated growth in 1998 with the planned introduction of new page, line matrix, serial matrix and travel industry printer products in the first half of the year. Our asset acquisition of Novadyne Computer Systems is expected to enhance our On-site repair capabilities by adding scale and coverage and should result in improved performance in 1998. Additionally, our expanded capabilities in Professional Services will now include new customers in the telecommunications industry and SUN systems environments.''......... One item from previous post relates to some insider stock sales at higher prices earlier. Someone with an inside track might call the company or its IR company and request an explanation. I'm sure if nothing else whatever they say about something like that would be good for a laugh, and who knows they might give out some useful information. Chas
