Wharfie, Re-directing means sending a psych tech, instead of a cop, to deal with this guy. A "psych tech" isn't going to do jack to a guy who's posing a health and safety hazard to the community. I have hardly seen ideas that are dumber than sending "social workers" to deal with belligerent and often armed perps. Or the idea that shooting someone in the back automatically constitutes first or second-degree murder. Tenchusatsu
