I have to agree with you Henry. 11000 patients is a lot of people and if the results were just marginal and the FDA agreed, then i have to say that indeed CORR must be affect if not all, at least some of the bios. Let's hope that LGND has more success with their drug.

In fact he quoted one of the big boys who was long on CORR as saying that he would not invest in Biotechs again.

One cannot blame him. The money in biotechnology has been made by investing in the companies that commercialize it (read, "big boy drug companies").

Perhaps his remarks are a sign of capitulation, of the sort one finds at bottoms. Maybe this fellow has just awoken to the reality of investing in biotech issues. I know I'm hearing the alarm clock. :-O

I'm not sure that investors (institutional as well as retail) have a solid grasp of this aspect.

Welcome to the stock market, Henry. You can get real poor waiting for investors to develop a "solid grasp" of anything.
