That was such a touching tribute by her husband. Over my years on SI, I developed "something" like a friendship with only a small handful of others, and Poet was one of those friends. I just looked up some of our old PMs and recalled how she was always kind to me, thoughtful and funny. Back in those days SI was a little more like a soap opera sometimes, with huge personalities, schisms, rebellions, affairs, schemes and lawsuits. Also, though, there was a lot of fun (grubs anyone?) and plenty to laugh about. I had a lot of laughs with Poet.

what a beautiful obituary for a truly beautiful woman. condolences to her family and friends. i had not realized she had been gone for so long. :(
