This is not a question of victory, hydrogen is best suited for heavy transportation and long hauls as batteries are possible more handy for urban transport to and from work within a max 20 miles radius where you can charge the batteries when working. THerefore they will coexist IMHO

Nuclear is a base load solution and I am waiting for a response to work on such a solution from academia
To balance out wind and solar you need nuclear as base load but small reactors
