like the question , and will relate my personal feelings(not always right, but i am only human). if you were to back and read all of the company filings and consider the history of the markets and product market cycles and the history of the banking industry you can gain some insight. in the late 80's small pc manu. were everywhere and were making money. during the banking cris in the early 90's funds were cut off at the same time that pc's became commodily items therby squeezing out the small manu.'s esentially fibr had to start over without the benefit of strong backing of the banks and because of the banks no support from the real money men--wall st.-- so the co. raised money, issued shares and began to embark on a long path of expensive r and d and acquistions. serious money should continue to be deployed in r and d and as i evaluate the high tech landscape my opinion is that i have seen far worse in terms of products and at the same time astronomically high valuations.. bottom line is fibr is a spec. play.. again, your thoughts on the volume, forrester report, and the design wins that were reported in ee times... my industry contacts like the products and think that any series of orders will have a positive domino effect as it is a matter of if they get one big gigamux order their should be more size to follow. same for iqx and net-arm
