I'm sure your figures are correct based on the information that I gave you. A quick comparison still leaves the transfer at 24 times as fast, (12M in 12H = 1M/hr vs. 24M/hr.)

As for speed, I think that we will always find 'instantanous' just a little 'slow'. :)

You still would want the 'hard' line for slow and small transfers. I would only use the dish for 'big' jobs. But the cost, prime time, is still $9.60 for 12M (data) and IE4.0 can be had on CD for $4.95, and a couple of weeks. To say nothing about the possibility of having to reload in the event of a system 'meltdown'! I always like to have the hard media for that operation!
