Tom: I'm not implying that DD managements are cavalier towards the outcome; I'm sure they all strive for success. All I'm saying is that they will take whatever time is necessary to accomplish milestones and accordingly they don't deadline themselves. They aren't under contractual obligation to make and meet deadlines. If they produce a bankable feasibility study and wish to go into production, then it's a different story.

The only people right now who'd really like DD milestone deadlines set and met are shareholders...we want results yesterday! :o)

<<Even Microsoft virtually never launches new software on schedule, and I don't think we can expect anymore from naxos>>

I couldn't agree with you more. It is very easy to say I think this job should be completed by this particular date, and I am going to hold you to it, come hell or high water. In reality, it just doesn't work this way. It doesn't work that way for Microsoft, and it doesn't work that way for Naxos.

Does that mean that things couldn't go faster? That we are moving along at the utmost optimum speed? Of course not! But it is my opinion that things are progressing as fast as can be reasonably expected.

From my conversations with the company, it does not appear to me at all that they are addressing the issues with anything near a cavalier attitude. I certaintly don't think they have an attitude that says, "if it works, fine. If it doesn't, at least I get paid". What makes that attitude even more unlikely is most of the people are paid with options, and Jimmy takes only a very small salary for himself. Again, this is just my opinion.
