Hey, TJ...

Yes, I'm quite well, thanks. However, my wife, who had suffered from early onset Alzheimers from about 1996, died in early May. I've been her primary care giver that entire time, which changed my trajectory in life, and has been quite demanding. After a couple decades without a day off... I decided to take some time. Walked, a bit more each day, for a month or two, and shed thirty pounds while ramping up to 8 miles or more with a couple thousand feet in elevation... then took a short trip through the wilds around the edges of the wilderness in Montana and Idaho, most of it between 6,000 and 8,500 feet. Even being in decent shape, I found the hills were twice the size I expected, and twice as steep. Some of what I was there to see required going straight up the almost 60 degree talus slopes. Not exactly on vacation... I was out in the mountains camping, and on foot, checking out the geology, looking at rocks in person in places that I'd located on my computer... while considering filing a few mining claims. Located a few long abandoned and inordinately dangerous mine sites... and validated much of what I'd hoped to find. Haven't sent samples for assay yet... but, also didn't get all the work I'd wanted to finish completed. Will have to go back with a better plan, now that I know more about what's really there.

Learned a lot on the trip... some of which is quite interesting... and some of what I've found has changed some of what I'm thinking about doing next. I've spent a lot of time over the last few years considering what else I might do... have no shortage of plans and ideas worth pursuing... and, now, have some choices to make.

Meanwhile... all in the last few years... my Mom died, my Dad died, and his second wife died... all of which created a bit of a fur ball with legal battles mounting in the wake... some in the family taking more than they should have, and some not wanting to follow last wishes in the disposition. But, as I'm now the executor of the will and trustee of the trust... parents wishes will be honored as best they can be... and things are now getting smoothed over and straightened out satisfactorily. Hope to wrap all of that up this year... about half way through with that now, I hope... and then can get busy with projects.

So, its really been a busy and demanding couple of months. I'm not going to try and catch up with everything I've missed... but will jump back into the flow.
