Market Outlook .. for the while My sense it that the market will be trading range bound for the next 6-8 weeks, with an upside bias and volatility dampening. The next round of earnings jitters won't occur until early March and by then the market will sense whether the financial mediation effects in Asia will be effective or not. Until then money is flowing selectively into stocks that have reported solid earnings and forecased nonimpact from the Asian situation for the next two quarters. Momentum and breath are stable, I don't see a blowoff top coming ... sorry, bears. I shall use the strength of this market to buy protective puts for aggressive put selling during the next market correction. Oh, SPY is trying to break out ..
