I thought they were at nearly 1000 devices per wafer almost a
year ago (no, I'm not going to go back that far to try to find
the old posts). Maybe I've been away too long <g>.

The $1800 per wafer seems very high to me. Seems like $1000
would be more reasonable for 0.4u and maybe $1200-1400 for 0.2u.
Can't believe they can do 0.25u for the exact price of 0.4u.

example:
At .25u $1800/1000 = $1.80


Another example:

At .30um $1800/(1000*.0625/.09 *80%yield) = $3.24
Add to that testing and packaging costs.
