Actaully the market does share my opinion. You only need to look at the increased services revenue to realize there is high demand for resources assisting the implmentation of technology. Jaguar CTS and PowerJ are helping fuel the explosive growth with the Internet. Replication server continues to have no real competition for data movement. Aside from the data server concerns left over from System 10 SYBS is doing fine. One of these days analysts will start measuring the company for more than just DB server engine sales.

I am also curious to see if Larry manages to pull off the speculated 25% gain in NA server sales. Especially in consideration of the discounts IMHO they will need to offer. That should be of particular interest to investors.

I agree with you 100%. I can not find a single job opening for Sybase DBA or developer in sunday paper But I can find a lot of company willing to pay up to 120 K for an Oracle DBA and Developer. That means a lot.
