Retro, I am not the right person to answer this, but if indeed you have no intentions to trade or sell these certificates in the foreseeable futures, than the type of account you have asked to open and the one they actually opened are different. From the little you said it seems that it is a normal trading account, or transferring the stock to a "Street Address". Cross out from the document those parts that you do not like. If, however, in the future you want to sell these you will still have to empower the broker to do it for you.
